The Making of Homo Honoratus: From Omission to Commission

Framing is an important concept in behavioural economics. This paper analyses the real-world evidence for a type of framing, the ‘omission bias’. A field experiment is undertaken analysing framing and repayment of debts. Economic implications are discussed.
